The massage mat for the car seat

To let you get out of the car more relaxed than when you got in - that is Faurecia's declared goal. That's why Faurecia has developed the "Smart Massage Cover" massage mat, which can be retrofitted to the car seat. Its unique ergonomic design noticeably increases comfort and well-being while driving. Only high-quality automotive materials and pneumatic components are used in its manufacture, the likes of which are otherwise only found in the luxury class.

Individually adjustable massage via app

The intensity and speed of the massage can be controlled via a free, intuitive app for iOS (from iOS 14 and higher) and Android (from V7 (Nougat) and higher). Since the latest update, iOS users also have the option of starting and ending the massage via voice control. The app offers a choice of two massage programs with different movement patterns, whose intensity can be precisely adjusted. This is made possible by the hitherto unique integrated air chambers, which provide optimum relaxation and support for the back while driving. As the only seat cover on the market, the Smart Massage Cover has been proven to provide optimum support for the spine and musculoskeletal system - as confirmed by the "Aktion Gesunder Rücken"-certificate.

Validated safety

Conventional seat covers and mats can alter the properties of the seat. To ensure that the risk of injury does not increase in the event of a collision, Faurecia is the only manufacturer to date to have had the massage mat tested and validated almost like a normal car seat. Thanks to the built-in air chambers, which deflate when the Smart Massage Cover is not in use, the mat is no longer noticeable to the user and at the same time meets the highest safety requirements.

Easy fastening

Thanks to a patented fastening system, the massage mat with the dimensions ca. 82x29cm can be retrofitted to the backrest of almost any seat model (except highback seats). To do this, simply hang the massage mat by the headrest and it can be used.
